After the resurrection Jesus said, “These are the words I spoke to you, while I was yet with you, that ALL things must be fulfilled which were written in. . . the prophets concerning me.” Jesus said he fulfilled all things. Living in expectancy of ‘Christ coming’ is good, --but truth, blessing, and power come when we also see end times through the finished work of the cross. Like Paul, we must combine ‘Christ coming,’ and see it through the eyes of ‘Christ crucified’ (I Cor 2:2).
Daniel is the ‘granddaddy of prophecy,’ but did you know that Daniel could be talking about the CROSS, and not just ‘the future end times,’ as we think of them? Remember that both events will still ‘future’ when Daniel wrote!
John says the end time message is a blessing to all who read and hear it (Rev 1:3). But this is only true when it is seen through ‘gospel eyes’ focused on the finished work of Jesus. Satan’s greatest goal is to blind us to the gospel of Christ (II Cor 4:4). But gospel truth is God’s greatest weapon. Satan is powerless against it. As Jesus says, “This GOSPEL of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world . . . AND THEN SHALL THE END COME” (Matt 24:14).
This book will impart the truth, power,
and blessing of the gospel in end times to you!
